Mr. Yoshioka has worked for Ichiya Co. Ltd since 1985, starting in the company’s retail division. He became responsible for the retail operations of the company across its most significant district before transferring to the General Affairs Department in 1990.
He was responsible for the launch of the General Affairs Department within the company and was involved in the company's initial public offering in Japan. He was appointed as Managing Director - General Affairs Department in June 2001 and then was appointed as President and Representative Director for the company.
