Grant Kensington

Grant completed a Master of Science with Honours, majoring in Earth Sciences in 1990 and an MBA in 2002. He commenced his professional career with Solo Geophysics in 1991 conducting surveys in Eastern and Northern Australia on tenements and mines held by BHP, CRA, Mount Isa Mines, Billiton and Homestake. In 1993, Grant commenced with Mount Isa Mines, working in and around the Isa mine operation’s , undertaking exploration for extensions of the Isa ore bodies. Between 1994 and 2001, he worked for North Limited and was involved in exploration in Australia, Sweden, Argentina, Chile, Peru and North America. Grant has experience in exploration for porphyry, epithermal, IOCG, Carlin gold and Broken Hill Type targets.
In more recent times Grant has consulted to the mining industry and worked at an executive level in the forestry industry in the areas of strategy, finance and business improvement.
Grant is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. |
